I am an undergraduate in the Honors College at the University of Arizona ('07), pursuing a B.S. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, a B.A. in English (emphasis: British Literature) and a B.A. in Creative Writing (emphasis: poetry), plus a minor in Philosophy. I think I'd like to go to graduate school for Environmental Literature (ecocriticism), Science Writing, or Science, Technology and Society studies. I just need to get out of Tucson in 2007.

As a disc jockey for KAMP Student Radio, UA's student run radio station, I get to spin some wild stuff from all over the musical map. It's a total blast! I was the World music director from 2002-2004 and 2005-2006, so I've created programming and playlists for reggae, latino, dancehall, funk, eastern European rock, and folk shows. I have a two hour show, and I switch between The Blue Room (Jazz/Blues/Big Band/Swing/Lounge), Terra Prime, a meld of world and electronic, and The Wayback Machine!, a variety of retro rock, pop and TV tunes. If you'd like more information about KAMP, e-mail me at kampworldmd@gmail.com.
FALL 2006 RADIO SHOW:TBA!

Be sure to check out my sister journal, dedicated to my poems, essays, short fiction, and academic papers - treeofwoe. I update it as often as I can. All comments are welcome! This semester, I'll be posting a lot of my preliminary and revampted drafts of my poetry thesis here.
